Ashlar or cut stone comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. Principly used in the local area for quoins within a cotswold stone wall or building, they are added to give a definition to the construction and create a ‘clean’ building line. They are sold by the square foot based on the visible face. All ashlar we sell would have been previously used and therefore cut to shape for that specific purpose, so some alterations may need to be made on site to suit the new purpose.
